Mi Kasa Es Su Kasa

I headed out for an early morning picture taking jaunt yesterday. I came across these umbrellas outside what I think is an abandoned drug store. Kasa is the Japanese word for umbrella. Late Night at the Bottle Shop

My wife didn't really like this one when I first showed it to her, so I hesitated to put it up. She thought that it looked more like a painting, than a photograph. It actually hasn't been PhotoShopped at all, just shot on a slow shutter speed. (300D, Aperture-Priority, 30", f32, Metering Mode: Evaluative, ISO 1600, Lens 18.0 - 55.0mm, Focal Length 42.0mm)

A Basket Full of Surprises
I came across this bicycle while wandering around a paint shop in Hosoe (hopefully I can do something good with the pictures from the paint shop soon). Th bike seems to have been there a while, but one of the kids in the shop seemed to be using the basket to store his helmet and dirty socks.
